Hi Markus! It sounds like you just need to drag Name to the Rows shelf. Put it to the right of ID.
Does that give you what you want to see? If not, please help me out and clarify what's missing. Thanks!
Yes, you can hide the IDs by right-clicking the pill on the Rows shelf and unchecking "Show Header".
The other problem is a bit harder to solve. Can you edit the data source so that each ID only has one unique Name?
Yes, I can edit the data source.
I would have been fine with showing both names instead of the ID and having one bar representing the number of entries per ID.
But as it looks like there is no way and I need to flatten the name list in the datasource.
Well, you can show both Names instead of the ID if you'd like, but the records will be summed up per Name and per ID if the Names are different, because Tableau tries to break down the records using all included dimensions. There isn't really a great way of displaying both Names without causing this breakdown. In some cases you can try using the ATTR() aggregation, but it won't work here.
The easiest way to solve this is definitely to clean up and flatten the name list in the data source.
