    Alias an attribute with another attribute of the same row

      Hi all,

      I have just started playing with Tableau so my apologies if this question was already answered. Though I was unable to find the answer.

      I have a table which looks (roughly) like this:




      The "ID"s are unique, the "Name" can be associated to multiple IDs.
      I want to count the number of records based on the ID and display the result together with the "Name" in a diagram.


      And that is what I struggle with. I have no problem dragging the ID to the diagram and displaying the number of records for it. However IDs are not readable.
      So I would rather display the Name even if this adds some ambiguity.

      Is this doable?
