# Average of Sales by Minute over 12 months

I have requirement where i have minutely sales data over last 12 months. I need to plot graph where my X-Axis is Hours & Y-Axis is Sales, will have line plots minute by minute data points

I will have 1 lines showing avg for that data point last 12 months. I'm doing something like this:

iif(datediff('month',[EST Event Time],DATE('17-August-16')) <= 12,[Metric Amount],0)/60 which will avg it out by minute . Is this right?

Hi Badri, I'm a bit confused. Are you looking for a rolling average of the sales per minute? I.e. will every point on your graph be the average sales per minute of that point and all the ones before it?

Yes you are correct.

If that's the case, then you should just be able to use a moving calculation (from Quick Calculations) for average sales. If the data is truly divided minute-by-minute, then putting a continuous exact date pill on the column shelf should give you the sales per minute average.
