I'm not gonna dive into the downsides of a 3D graph since there are just too many!
It is not possible in Tableau to create 3D graphs out of the box.
I suggest sticking to the normal graph types. There is a reason that they work so good, everyone understands them and they are very readable
Thanks for the information. Am preparing the 2D graphs for now as you have suggested. However am curious from learning perspective of 3D graphs created in Tableau.
Any suggestions on other language like R can be integrated with Tableau to make these.
Any information on the same would be really helpful.
