Filtering a Dimension while keeping total view the same

    Giuliano Tadde

      Good afternoon everyone,

I am currrently trying to figure out how to filter a dimension for a visual graph that has two graphs (dual axis) onto each other.

Every time I filter it changes the total number but I want the total number to be fixed but filter which company to display on the second axis- for example market share. I saw the previous person at my work before me using an ATTR (attribute?) but I've tried and googled but I can't seem to figure it out.

How to filter a dimension (e.g marketshare) while keeping the totals unchanged (e.g industry total volume)- filtering changes the marketshare but also changes the total to reflect what was filtered- how to not allow this to happen.

Any kind of advice is much appreciated!

      Thanks!
