    Split Australia state map

    Veronica Zaitseff

Hi, day 3 with Tableau, still trying to get used to the tool so apology if my question isn't framed properly.

I need to split the Australian map into 7 regions:

      NSW North (Harbour bridge upwards)

NSW South (Harbour bridge down) & ACT

      QLD North & NT

QLD South (The QLD boundary is Brisbane (north of Brisbane is QLDN-NT, south is QLDS)

      SA

      VIC & TAS

      WA.

I have tried grouping feature but it does not allow states to be split.

What is the easiest way to achieve this? I have looked at geocoding and polygon but it seems complex for beginner.

      Thank you.
