Hi, I have googled and read up about this, but I just want to confirm this.
Is the only way for Tableau to read a polyline in a map is to split the lines into individual points in a directional manner?
So that Tableau will link each point into a line based on their lat and long position?
Seems like that is what most people did.
Like this example: Mapping the World’s Rivers | DataRemixed
Appreciate the confirmation!
As far as I'm aware, yes.
To render a polyline as the very least you will need a pair of lat/longs across two rows.
