# Ranking multiple dimensions

I have several dimensions that can each have the value "Y" or "N". I've attached an example file.

I am able to calculate the percentage of "Y"s for each dimension:

...and I would now like to rank the resultant percentages against each other.

The result I'm after should look something like this:

Dimension----PctY-------Rank

Choose3------56.25%----1

Choose1------50.60%----2

Choose2------47.78%----3

Create three calculated fields, one for each 'choose' field i.e.

COUNT(IF [Choose1]='Y' then [Choose1] end)

/

COUNT([Choose1])

Then drag measure names onto your rows shelf and put Measure Values onto the text button on the marks card. Select your three measures you've created and you're set.

Hi Tim,

The easiest solution will be to pivot your data. Check the attached for a sample solution. More info on pivoting fields here Pivot Data (from Columns to Rows)
