First things to try...
- Logging out and back in
- Swap to an alternative browser
- Upgrade the existing browser
And to check - what was the file extension of the attachment?
Normally it would be twbx for a Tableau file...
If nothing there works, we can call some help

I tried all the steps what your saying but no luck..
As you have seen, I'm also having the same issue today - I also note the forum being a little slow.
One thing I'm going to try is clearing my browser cache, I use CCleaner

I closed, cleared my cache (via ccleaner) and about 30mins ago nothing loaded
Now is slightly better...moderation queue is loading etc.

I am new to this forum and spending a little time getting to know the structure / content / etc. - I came across this post which I see is from August but shows unanswered. Did you receive an answer or resolve this or still having an issue? If still having an issue, did you try from another machine to confirm issue was/is not just on your initial machine? I included an attachment (a workbook I downloaded to review a few charts) in this reply to confirm I do receive this error. If you are still having the issue, I would be happy to help in any way I can.
