Hey there Gabriel,
Can you give a screenshot of what you are seeing, and what exactly you are doing when you see the error? It's hard to tell from the description if you are looking at Tableau Desktop or Tableau Server/Online
IF this is occurring when you are in a web browser, does this happen in all web browsers? If you are only seeing this in Internet Explorer or internet Explorer and Chrome (They are based on similar code, so sometimes they have the same issue), I'd start by taking a look at your internet options/ security settings, and make sure Internet Explorer is not running in Enterprise mode.
IF the info above is not helpful, I"d open a case with support with as much detail as you can. they can let you know if this is an issue on tableau's side, and probably help fix it, or point you in the right direction!
Ok, So it looks like the "alloow" button for the oauth connection is greyed out.
So Tableau Desktop uses Internet explorer's settings- So i'd totally try setting your security settings down one notch and see if you can log in after doing that. I took a look and found the folowing:
If the security settings dont work::
can you log in using oauth/google in ie directly? if you cant, that is the problem to solve
If you can, I would open a support case with:
1) the information above
2) a set of desktop logs (http://www.tableausoftware.com/support/knowledge-base/sending-tableau-desktop-log-files for instructions on bundling and sending the files.)
3) any troubleshooting you did (tried to log in using IE, result was x. Tried to log in using Firefox, result was x. issue started x,. any known changes, etc. then the destkop team (who are way more experienced wtih problems in desktop can take a look. I didn't see anything in the tableau documentation, but i could easily have missed something!
Oh, and update with what worked !
Thanks, Andie. That helps.
