SSO Tableu and Joomla CMS issues

    Andrew Tregoning

We are creating a single sign on for our tableau server, hosted on a Windows server, on it's own domain, with SSL, and a Joomla site running on a Linux server,on it's own domain, with SSL.

We are using the REST api, and trusted tickets to embed tableau server in the website, using the following code after receiving a trusted ticket

      <iframe src="https://pdata.uk/trusted/'.$ticket.'/#projects?:embed=yes" width="800" height="600"></iframe>

It displays the tableau embedded home page briefly, and then it redirects to login screen saying "session expired"

In console I found that in the first request the session id is set, for example workgroup_session_id=lehj2b7KDXt4HcTURuOUzwNIdHl28Tp2

But in the successive get request it throws a 401 unauthorized error and workgroup_session_id is getting set to empty.

If I visit this url through a browser I get

HTTP Status 405 - Request method 'GET' not supported

      type Status report

message Request method 'GET' not supported

description The specified HTTP method is not allowed for the requested resource.

Has anyone got any idea why this is happening?
