    Values should be in Row

    Govind Ramchetty

      Hi Friends,

      I have reports like

      Type,Amount

      A--1800

      B--1000

      C---500

      And I have formulae field (Calculated field)--> (GL_Amount - AL_Amount )-->D

      Like my reports should be

      Type,Amount

      A--1800

      B--1000

      C---500

      D-- return values.

      How can I achieve this. Above field should be row value.

      Sample Attached here.

      Thanks

      Govind R

          Hi Govind,

          please find the attached screenshot. This will be calculated Column wise and not row-wise.

          Try this. I have removed GL total and Exp_Amount. You can add them back. I have renamed the Grand total to "Sum of Differences".

          The question that you have stated above works well when you don't put dimension in the row section (aggregated view). Please refer  below screenshot which works as row wise.

          Please find the attached workbook in case if you want to refer any of the above stuff.

          Thanks and Regards,

            Unmatched should be Sum (200+500+100)-->800 this should be separate row in Expense Type

            Line-->1800

            schedule-->1000

            Unschedule-->900

            Unmatched-->800

            How can I achieve this.

              Hi Govind,

              Expense type is separate dimension all together. It contains Line, schedule and Unschedule list items. Unmatched that you are calculating using GL_Total an Exp_Amount. This are separate measures. You are trying/requesting to mix up dimensions along with measure which isn't the logical thing (it can't happen). Thus what you are requesting can't be achieved logically.

              (Unmatched doesn't belongs to the Expense_Type)
