I have a few questions for you.
1. Are you using Tableau Server on Premise or Tableau Online?
2. Are you using the data sync client or tabcmd to schedule the updates?
3. Does the workbook have a live connection to the data source if you are using server on premise?
You have to either update the workbook manually when you open it or schedule it to update at a specific time.
What version of Tableau Server are you running?
Can you provide a workbook? Just to twb - XML definition of it. No data needed.

After looking at your error i can understand that manually you are able to do the refresh but through Tableau Server scheduler you are not able to refresh the data source. The error which is coming shows that the Tableau Server is not able to access the file that is located in the shared folder/drive.
This happens when the Username using which you have configured your Tableau Server does have Read rights to that folder. Try sharing that shared folder/drive also with the Username with which you have configured Tableau Server then the refresh should happen. Hope this helps.
what do you mean with Premise? but answering you:
1. Tableau Server
2. data sync client
3. im using extracts
I know what happened to your application.
You pointed to excel file but Tableau copied it to a temp file.
Point the excel again and upload the twbx.
i´ve done that every time :s
I use to build in my notebook the same path i have on server to instance txt or other files:
Usually in first time, when you create extraction Tableau creates a temporary copy. After if you edit this connection setting this path that is the same in your machine and server, if file exists in Server all works.
I saw you are pointing to \\pmxnts10002\NIELSEN. It should work exactly like description above.
If you access Tableau server, you can browse this file?
Your error message is very clear: you don't have privileges or file doesn't exist.
Did you renamed some sheet inside the file?
but, doesn't tableau use my username and password to acces to the folder?
who and/or how do i know whinch username is using tableau server?
in other posts i read that Tableau dont work as a user but as a service...
File name didn't change. And about sheet name?
I saw now.
On server is not \\pmxnts10002\NIELSEN.
There is a folder before.
Paths have to be the same.
