1. Re: How to make a proxmity parameter affect only a specific filter selection on bar chart?
khalid norat Jun 23, 2016 6:57 AM (in response to Sebastian Borys)I'm not sure if I totally understand your requirement. But this maybe something that can be solved using LOD formulas
if you look the Exclude LOD formula this will allow you to ignore 1 more filters in your calculations

Sebastian Borys Jun 23, 2016 7:07 AM (in response to khalid norat)Thanks for your reply!
As for the parameter that I have , users enter a number in feet . The prameter affects multiple sections of the dashboard .
on the bar chart have a filter with two selections . I need the parameter to only affect the bar chart when only 1 of the selections is selected and not the other.
Can you provide an example of the exclude formula with a filter expression.
I tried but failed with it .
Thanks.

3. Re: How to make a proxmity parameter affect only a specific filter selection on bar chart?
khalid norat Jun 23, 2016 7:09 AM (in response to Sebastian Borys)I think what you are looking for from this explanation maybe something different to what I first assumed.
Could you please share a sample workbook and possibly a screen shot of how it should work vs how it is working

4. Re: How to make a proxmity parameter affect only a specific filter selection on bar chart?
khalid norat Jun 23, 2016 7:49 AM (in response to Sebastian Borys)sorry I just realised both are parameters
Is the graph on the left being affected at the moment
how is the graph on the left being calculated
is there anyway you can upload a sample workbook with some dummy data so I can assist more effectively
