Stacked Bar size based on Value

Hi Team,

i designed a view like below. But respective of the values bar is showing the same size for both measures.

i need to show the view like stacked bar size should indicates the values of the measure

Is the attached what you are looking for?

• 2. Re: Stacked Bar size based on Value

No John.

That bar has to be fixed int he column. But the sales and Profit stack bars should be based on the values.

Ok I misunderstood.  Here is what I think you are looking for but I'm still working on getting the label right to the \$

• 4. Re: Stacked Bar size based on Value

Ya exactly. But i need to display the avg of each measure on the bar

Ok I got the labels by some smoke and mirrors ;-)

How did u do can you explain

• 7. Re: Stacked Bar size based on Value

I used a dual axis to get the sales label on one layer and for the stacked layer I used profit for the label.  I colored the profit label as sales bar color, because it is labeling for each segment but you don't see it on the red segment.  There might be other ways to do this.

I tweaked the label alignment in this version to make it cleaner.

John,

when i was trying to implement the same to get the fixed bar with %. i am not getting that fixed bar.

i have two measure lets say XX and YY.

XX%=  sum(XX)/sum(YY)+sum(XX)

YY%=  sum(YY)/sum(YY)+sum(XX)

is there anything we need to condider to get the fixed bar ..

You need to put ( ) around the entire denominator.

i am getting the view like below.

Two amount are cming on the view and size is also not coming properly. big amount is having small stack and small amount is having big stack
