Since you have data residing on the two different types of data sources you can't perform join. Below are the link on data blending which will help you to access the Google sheet columns to tableau sheet created using Redshift. Links has notes as well as detailed steps to achieve the desired result. Please refer them.
Thanks and Regards,
I've tried to follow the link you mentioned but I have one problem:
What I need it do is join or blend 2 sources in one.
I have the same the same period of time and countries on both tables, and the difference is that in both I have product field, but a set of products in one, and another set in the other.
then the dimension for both is the same (unique users).
So I'm not sure how can I do it
I would suggest take Let Redshift be the primary data source and google sheet secondary. You need to blend the data based on 3 columns that you just mentioned which are period, country and & product. When you do this, you will be able to see the product set values in this sheet after blending.
If possible please share the workbook and datasources, or sample will also be fine.
thanks for the answer.
I'm attaching a sample.
I was originally using tableau 10 beta, but for the purposes of this I've recreated on 9.3 and replace a txt file for the google sheet.
I asume that for his purpose should be the same.
