Hi Sony K,
It may be because of your [Lifecycle] (aka Bucket #) values come from Secondary.
Tableau first reads all rows (their Dimension values) necessary to build a view from Primary (40 rows),
then applies Group By's and Filters from subqueries which comes from Secondary
( sum(1) ... from ... where [Lifecycle] = 'Bucket 4' gives 14), hence the results.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for the reply.
Whatever the logic is, the user doesn't intend to see all the rows in
drill-down/'View Data'. Showing all rows on 'Underlying' tab defies the purpose of that tab completely in my opinion.
If the 'View Data' function works fine on a pie built on one data source, it should work the same with multiple data sources, what any user would assume.
I am looking for a solution/workaround for this.
