# dynamically dividing between sheets

I have a data set of X number of markets which are being presented in two sheets. How can I form the calculation so that i always see evenly divided markets in both sheets. Also, if the total number of markets is an odd number, how can that be accounted for in the same logic?

thanks,

Ren

Pren,

I think it may work with using a calculation of Index with a "Compute using" of [Market],

then filtering one sheet to be True for [Index]%2=0 and the other False.

I think with the changing of dimensions on the sheets, the size should dynamically adjust

and also account for odd numbers of markets.

Thanks a lot! I will try out this method. Just had a question before I do, I am trying to arrange them all by a rank based on Revenue in descending order. Can I still apply that and use this?

for example, if I have 10 markets,

the first sheet should show:

A, B, C, D, E

and second should show:

F, G, H, I, J

and if I have 11 markets,

the first sheet should show:

A, B, C, D, E, F

and second should show:

G, H, I, J, K

Pren,

This filter may work better for sorted markets:

[Index]<= WINDOW_MAX([Index])/2

Putting the top half in one and the rest in the other.
