Page Shelf's playback controls unavailable in published dashboard

Below is the published dashboard control for the page shelf. The playback controls (play, pause, speed etc) are not displayed. I can select individual dates and move the slider, but I'd prefer to give the user the means to press play to automatically move through the data. It displays and works fine within the desktop, -just not via the server.

I'm using Tableau 9.3 and tried it using Chrome and IE 11.

Pages Shelf animation is not supported on Tableau Server, although I can't seem to find this in the docs.

Any idea whether Tableau 10 will address this (I'm just now reading through the release notes)? I have created a workaround (minus the tails and faded dots) which I can share if there's a need.

Hi Rick,

I'm not sure you are aware of this, but the M*ndmajix link that you posted leads to a page that is an unauthorized and illegal copy of Dan Murray's _Tableau Your Data_. Please don't link to them in the future, thanks!
