I am trying to replace the empty values in my SSAS-based worksheet to make some FIRST() and LAST() logic work.
However, I wasn't able to populate the empty cells. I've tried creating a calculated field that always evaluates to 1, but it only populates in the cells that were non-null in the beginning. I've also tried to create a calculated measure using MDX that always evaluates to 1 and it still didn't work. Cells that had no data were still blank.
Is there a way to do this? or, alternatively... Is it possible to create FIRST() and LAST() logic that doesn't ignore blank/empty cells?
A packaged workbook with some sample data would be ideal but could you at the very least share the calculations you've attempted to use? Perhaps there's something we can tweak there.
