Your request is not very clear. What is it that you are attempting to do? Are you wanting to take data from a tableau workbook and export this to an excel document?
You can always right-click a header and choose 'view underlying data' then choose 'underlying data' and then choose 'export'. Alternatively you have the option to export data to a crosstab from the worksheet menu at the top of the workbook. Workbook -> Export -> Export crosstab to Excel.
If you want your end users to have this on tableau server/tableau online as an option you are able to use blog which will help you immensely.
Using tableau server, when i click on report and export the data using crosstab. It shows only 100 rows.
When you do this there is an option in the top left where can put in the
number of rows wish to export.
You can also follow the steps in that blog. If you do this and use a
unique identifier as a row header you will get all the rows of your
underlying data source.
I am unable to understand the exact solution. There is no option i found on top left to add max rows.
How to insert manually rows.
