# How to show table values and percentages in 1 worksheet

Hi Everyone,

Working on creating a report and have a question (PS - i am fairly new to Tableau and hence i think answers to my questions may not be complex for some of the Tableau guru's here)

Is there a way to add a column that shows % complete for each of the categories below in the same worksheet (like shown in 2nd image created in excel)

Using Percentage of just shows the % and not the actual values and hence i am struggling to show both these together

Someone suggested using Pivot in the data source...but i want to avoid doing that if there is a more simpler way.

and drag it on to column shelf and change to percent

I tried using a new calculated field (OrderID %) with this formula:

COUNT([Orderid]) / TOTAL(COUNT([Orderid]))

Then added it to the measure values and switched it so it computed against Ctnstatus. It looks really close but I can't get the subtotal of the % to go away. I'm sure a LOD calc would be better.

Found it...again this might not be the BEST way to do what you want, but it works.

2 new calculated fields:

Orderid % = COUNT([Orderid]) / TOTAL(COUNT([Orderid]))

Total Order = TOTAL(COUNT([Orderid]))

Add measure values as the text, then these 3 are the only measure values shown.

Add measure names to the columns shelf

For the 3 measures, make sure you change the following:

Total Order and Orderid % - compute using Ctnstatus
