    Acquisition/retention of customer - create calculated fields




      I am trying to write calculated fields for to look at a customer list, and evaluate the percentage of customers, between particular accounting periods,

      • acquired new (for renewing)
      • retained (versus churned)


      I'd like to compare based on different types of customers (i.e. a dimension), and on a dimension for the reporting period, as the period will not necessarily be based upon calendar years.


      If anyone could suggest a solution, then that would be very helpful.
