I have East Africa data as well it doesn't help.
And adding to it I want to change the Map background image which by default is Light, Dark & Normal. Can we customize.
I believe if we can get the Latitude & Longitude for East Africa. Hope it will solve the problem.
Can you share sample workbook, if possible?
If you want to change Map background image Light, Dark & Normal you need to use map box integration
Mapbox | Design and publish beautiful maps create your account and use token for map which enable customization for map
Check the attached sample workbook for the same.
Thanks and Regards,

Tableau is not going to recognize it because East Africa is a region rather than a country unless you're referring to the historical British East Africa.
Without your twbx, it's hard to give you specific help. My recommendation is to create a set of those countries in East Africa, name the set East Africa and then give the user the ability to select individual countries in the set or ALL for the East African region.

The issue is that East Africa is not a Country. Tableau is literally looking for a country here. East Africa is fairly open to interpretation as to what would define it. In this case it will be beneficial to use groups. You will want to have a data for every country that makes up East Africa. When you do this you will be able to plot East Africa accordingly.
Problem is I am using Parameter.
And Parameter functions only on single Market.
Is there any way i can use the (All) as appears in normal filters in parameter.
The Tableau workbook shared is perhaps in Higher version hence unable to open it.
And how are u able to add the MAPBox Map?
Thanks I used the (All) to read as East AFrica. But its not working. Already attached the file for your reference.
And can we also use parameter as Multiple Selection?
No, you can't use a parameter and get multiple selection.
There's so little in your twbx that its hard to give you feedback here. The parameter is not finished, so I'm not able to give you specific guidance on that. From what you've got, it doesn't appear you need a parameter at all.
In regards to customizing the map, you'll need to be more specific there, as well. There are map layers that you can turn off/on to get more detail on land cover, borders, naming, etc. Here's the area with East Africa as a set used as a filter.
But my idea was to have uniform country name across all sheets so that when I use them in Dashboards to view my charts.
For that reason i used Country Parameter. And if I can have East Africa the region as well then it will be helpful.
If u can share the workbook to create the East Africa Set.
