Identify data source in a calculated field

    Justin Goodman

When using multiple data sources, it is common that I will create a metric and sum it from the various sources, for example: sum([superstore sales])+sum([b.superstore sales])

Then in a single mark i could get the total sales for both data sets, and where dimensions are added, and blended, the sum by these dimensions.

My Question / Challenge, is how do I add a dimension for data source, so if I want a single metric and single dimension (with two values)

In the example attached, the goal would be to replace the string "Data Source" with a calculated field identifying which data source was providing the sales, resulting in two rows by 4 columns
