Creating a filter out of numerous columns combined.

      Hi!

First time on the tableau forum so I'm sorry if I'm missing certain obvious things.

I have a data set that includes a bunch of columns. For example:

      Apples?Oranges?Bananas?Pears?
      YesYes
      Yes
      YesYes
      YesYes
      YesYes

The rest of the data contains information that I want to see which I make bar charts out of. I want to be able to filter those graphs based on the fruits. So on the dashboard it would have a dropdown filter that would allow be to select any of the fruits.

I looked on other forums and was able to create a drop down filter using calculated fields and parameters but the problem with that is i'm only able to select one fruit at a time. For example, I can't view both apples and oranges.

Is there a way to combine them into one drop down filter that would allow me to select multiple fields?

      Thank you so much!!!
