Please look at this post and apply it . It will solve your problem.http://kb.tableau.com/articles/knowledgebase/populating-empty-cells-with-zeros-existing-data
Calculated filed:ZN(LOOKUP(SUM([Sales]),0)) this will do the magic for you.
The screenshot in the document is not clear at all. Please share a sample workbook. Already we have addressed this query in previous thread posted by you. Please do post your requirement and workbook that will help us to solve your problem very fast.
Thanks much for your information. Yes already we discussed earlier but the solutions not working out for me.
The issue is am showing the distinct count of id's/plans in the view and I have many filters in the view.
For some cases , when I apply the filter chances are there for no data available with that condition. For these cases views shows empty and business want to see atleast 0 if there is no data.
I tried almost all the function in tableau but no luck.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Since the data source is huge , I cannot able to share my workbook.
I have also used the calculated field as you mentioned but it gives me "All" instead of zero .
ZN(LOOKUP(SUM([DUMMY_KEY]),0)), Can you please help me here.
When I used the same calculation in columns am getting below continuous view and I used the same in Text under Marks - it shows me 'All'.
