# How to compare latest 2 days result?

I want to show an arrow on a dashboard  such that  if the most latest day's total admission  is greater than the second latest day's total  admission then green color up arrow will  be appeared, otherwise red color down arrow.

Data is refreshed daily,  I would like to create a calculated filed that calculates the difference only between the latest day's total admission and the second latest day's total admission but I can't find the way to pull only those 2 day's daily total.

Could somebody please give me the solution of this problem?    I would appreciate any advice and tip..

Thank you,

Chieko

Hi,

Please see attached workbook and let me know if I have understood your requirements correctly. I can offer additional explanation if my solution is what you're looking for.

Thanks,

Ben

Hello Ben,

This is very helpful.  Basically this is what I wanted.  I used shape to show particular arrows as show in workbook.

I tried Last Day Filter to show only the last row.  If index() = size()  true, then it should return the last row. but it shows the first column.

How can I fix it?

Again, thank you very much for your help,

Chieko

Sounds like you need to change the table calculation to compute along Table (Down) rather than Table (Across)

Ben,

I did not use table calculation.  It calculated the total admission by date automatically and it computed table (down) since days are in row.

The attached shows how I did.  Could you tell me what I can fix from there?

Thank you,

Chieko

You need to compute the filter along Table (Down)
