Hello Kinnari,
You could use tableau -refreshextract from the command line - Tableau Data Extract Command-Line Utility
This is how the visualizations for the Ideas Ideas and Crow's Nest are updated each day.

Kinnari Dholakia Apr 27, 2016 12:42 PM (in response to Patrick A Van Der Hyde)Hi,
I am using -refreshextract.
It refreshes all datasources in a workbook. I want to refresh individual datasource not all datasources.

lenaic.ridinger Dec 28, 2017 3:20 AM (in response to Kinnari Dholakia)Hey Kinnari,
Yes, you can now refresh a datasource independently in your workbook.
This command takes the name of the workbook or data source as it appears on the server, not the file name when it was published. Only an administrator or the owner of the workbook or data source is allowed to perform this operation.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
