If you have the list of users to be removed in a text file you can use tabcmd deleteusers to delete them in a batch.
Thank you for your responce!
Could you please advise me, how it will work? Below are my concern:
-How this command will validate the file path?
-I have multiple sites, is this command will work ?
-If I run this command (tabcmd deleteusers) then what would be the outcome? will it remove all the user?
Please help me to solve out the issue.
Tabcmd automatically installs on the server, but I would recommend also installing it somewhere more accessible. I've installed it on my C: drive. Here is a link to a Knowledgebase article on installing tabcmd. http://onlinehelp.tableau.com/current/server/en-us/help.htm#tabcmd_install.htm
The important thing is that tabcmd must be able to access your file of userIDs. When you run tabcmd deleteusers you supply the server name, your sign-on credentials and the name of the file containing the userIDs (a text file with one userID per line). If you just want to remove users from a site and not delete them from the server entirely user tabcmd deletesiteusers instead (this command is in my 9.3 server administrators guide, but I've never used it).
Here is a more general link to tabcmd info: http://downloads.tableau.com/quickstart/server-guides/server_tabcmd6.0.pdf
I hope that helps you get started.
