    April 21st ATUG Meeting Information

    Andy Piper

Presenters this month include Eddie Patterson with SEDC and Dan Murray from InterWorks. Eddie is an ATUG regular who will give a presentation on "Data Hawks in the Prehistoric Age" -- a look at how you can use Tableau to verify data and find data problems. Dan Murray is a Tableau Zen Master and author of two Tableau books who will share with us some thoughts, musings, and knowledge of Tableau.

Invites are queued to be mailed by Tableau next Tuesday, April 12 instead of tomorrow, the usual 2-week mark that has been used in the past. However, if you wish to get a jump on registering for the meeting (and only if you can attend), there are 40 seats available between now and April 12 by going to https://atug2016apr.eventbrite.com.

If you are unable to get the early bird registration ticket, don't worry; 80 more will be available at 9AM on 4/12 when the invites are mailed from Tableau. Again, please only register if you can attend. Those who repeatedly sign up but do not attend may have their tickets revoked so that those who can come will have the opportunity to do so.

The event will take place at the Norfolk Southern offices at 1200 Peachtree Street, NE in Atlanta. The meeting is scheduled to run from 1-4PM. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to find offsite parking and check in with security.
