Its mainly seeing the data in the preview window. Please find below the details
Click Update Now to preview the first 10,000 rows of the data source (or enter the number you want to see in the Rows text box). Every time you make changes to the joins, click Update Now. If you want changes in the joins to be automatically reflected in the preview area, click Automatically Update.You can then make other modifications, such as changing the data type or renaming a column.

I do understand what you are saying and I have observed that. But this scenario happens when you make changes to the SQL for the first time. Second time if you make any changes, it does not prompt you to choose Update Now, it automatically shows you the updates output of the query in the preview. If "Update Now" needs user intervention then it should behave the same way everytime. I dont understand this logic.
Can anyone help me with that part please.
