I believe we can use an If/Then statement to get the desired results. Please see the attached workbook.
+ Sheet 1 is showing furniture results
+ Sheet 2 is showing office supplies results
+ Sheet 3 is showing the combined figures.
I created two calculations to use in Sheet 3 and took the filter off.
Furniture and Office Supplies Profit
IF [Category] = "Furniture" OR [Category] = "Office Supplies" then [Profit] END
Furniture and Office Supplies Sales
IF [Category] = "Furniture" OR [Category] = "Office Supplies" then [Sales] END
