Could you please share the tableau workbook (.twbx) n I am using tableau 9.1
Im using tableau 9.0, I can't share the file.
A table calc is already an aggregation of an aggregation, when dragging a table calc into a view the option to change the aggregation (i.e. count, sum, min, etc) isn't provided, I suspect this is also the reason you're also not able to Total this separately
I know that, but its wied that I can't subtotal a table calculation, my goal is to make a table calculation at the most detailed level and the sum over the
results at a higher level...

Tableau doesn't support two pass aka visual grand totals (the sum/min/max/etc. options) for table calculations, blended calculations, or calcs using ATTR(). See Totals and subtotals over displayed marks instead of separate calc (aka make subtotals work like Excel) for more details.
You might be able to use a nested table calculation in order to get the desired result, however Tableau's grand totals and subtotals are computed as separate calculations at different level of detail. So we have to simultaneously solve each table calculation for multiple levels of detail and that can get very tricky.
