What's the original data source? Any chance there are trailing spaces getting included with the new field?
Thanks for the swift response - the issue has been happening with every data source I have been using when refreshed in and extract, not just this one. So I know it's not a problem with the data source itself. I didn't touch the heading names between refreshing extracts, so I'm really stuck as to why this is happening. It means every time I refresh my data I have to reapply the net revenue measure to all of my views - which is extremely inconvenient.
Hope the issue can be resolved soon!

Well first, a quicker way of fixing the issue is to right-click the field with the ! and then click replace, and point it at the one without the ! This will fix it throughout your workbook.
My question really was: Are you using Excel as a data source, if not what is the data source (MS SQL, Access, etc.)
Wow, 6months using the product and I had no idea about that replace feature.. for sure would have saved me a good few hours of toiling through dashboards.
That's done the trick perfectly now, thanks very much
