# Comparing current week sales vs last year next week sales

Hi All,

I am not able to find the solution to the below problem. Can anyone explain me in details how to do this?

So basically, the current logic of my workbook calculates Current Financial Year Current Week Sales to Previous Financial Year Current Week Sales.

But I want to calculate the Current Financial Year Current Week to Previous Financial Year Next Week Sales

See the graph and table below:

As you see, the orange, blue and purple lines are for Budget, YEAR 2014, YEAR 2015 respectively. The graph in brown (dot) is for YEAR 2016.

My current logic is comparing YEAR 2016 WEEK 01 vs YEAR 2015 WEEK 01.

But I want to change it to YEAR 2016 WEEK 01 vs YEAR 2015 WEEK 02.

Here is the screenshot table:

My LOGIC:

(SUM([CurrentWeek (DW)].[net]) - SUM([LastYear (DW)].[net])) / SUM([LastYear (DW)].[net])

I need to change this SUM([LastYear (DW)].[net]) as it points to week 01 2015 such that it points to week 02 2015.

Regards,

Shivang

Hi.

It can be calculated by two steps of table calculation.

LastYearCurrentWeekSales

```LOOKUP(ZN(SUM([Sales])), -1)
```

LastYearNextWeekSales

```LOOKUP([LastYearCurrentWeekSales],1)
```

Edit Table Calculation of [LastYearNextWeekSales] like this.

Thanks.
