Some background in case you missed the meeting. Jason Scarlett of AHS and I (Fuyo Watanabe of AE Data) went head to head in an Iron Viz competition. We had Census data from the Calgary Open Data Catalogue (The City of Calgary - Open Data Catalogue - Datasets By Category ) and we spent 30 minutes creating our masterpieces in front of the "enthralled" user group audience. It was nerve-wracking but lots of fun and hopefully it was helpful to some!

Next CTUG meeting is April 20, 2016 - don't miss out!
Hi Jason and Fuyo!
Even if you didn't win at least you inspired some copy-cats.
After seeing your viz, started thinking about what we could do with Calgary open data.I got to churning out my own using the CPS crime data and the Calgary Community Boundaries. What do you two think?
Here's a link to my blog along with a direct link to the Viz.
Thanks for posting your work! Also it's pretty impressive that you finished that in only 30 minutes!
