# Combining multiple Region under one parameter

Hello,

I have multiple Region in my dashboard and I want to use that as parameter and also create one Global region and EMEA region (Europe + Africa + ME).

I am successfully able to create Global region but cannot link EMEA region as I dont know the proper formula to do it.

Hello Arihant,

Here you go

[Parameter 1] = [Region]

OR [Parameter 1] = 'Global'

OR ([Parameter 1] = 'EMEA' AND ([Region] = 'Europe' OR [Region] = 'Africa' OR [Region] = 'ME'))

This is basically saying your parameter equals your region, OR your parameter equals Globel, OR Your parameter = EMEA AND Your Regions are equal to those regions you specified.

Hi Arihant,

If you replace your current "Region Filter" formula with the following:

IF [Parameter 1]=[Region] THEN "True"

ELSEIF [Parameter 1]= "Global" THEN "True"

ELSEIF [Parameter 1]= 'EMEA' AND [Region] = 'Europe' Then 'True'

ELSEIF [Parameter 1]= 'EMEA' AND [Region] = 'Africa' Then 'True'

ELSEIF [Parameter 1]= 'EMEA' AND [Region] = 'ME' Then 'True'

ELSE "False" END

This should give you the desired effect

Kind regards,

Paul
