Should be able to do this with a IF statement combining the region/country into your groupings.
IF ([Country]='GB') THEN 'Europe'
ELSEIF ([Country]='FR') THEN 'Europe'
If you want a Global version, you could then combine this with a parameter that does something like this:
IF [Param] = 'Global' THEN 1
ELSEIF [Param] = [Region] THEN 1
Thanks! Going to give it a try but makes sense
I think the issue I'm having with it is because some categories won't be mutually exclusive.
If [World Region] = "EMEA" then "EMEA" elseif [US Customer] = 1 then "US" elseif [Global Customer] = 1 then "Global" end
this works for the first two but because Global captures all it gets thrown off. I can't change the order because the global always win.
UPDATE - I wonder if that is what you were referring to for parameter - let me check on that now
Yeah, got it. Thanks! I had to do a combination of parameter and calculated field so that Global still worked properly
