How do I get the null indicator back after hiding it?

In the bottom right corner of a worksheet there is often an indicator that you have some nulls in your data (see image).  If you right-click the indicator you can choose to hide it, but how do you show it again?

I tried right-clicking the axis and choosing Format > Pane tab on pop-up menu > Special Values section Marks drop-down > "Show at Indicator" but the indicator does not appear.

Follow-up related question: how do you get the indicator to show again on a map, which has no axes to click?

Sorry, but I don't know how to export any data or workbook as I'm new to Tableau and using Tableau Server with sensitive internal data.
