    How to label a time dimension and create overlapping time lines?

      I have two questions.

       

      1) Is there a way to label a time dimension? For example if the date is August 2012, can I rename it to reflect "Fall 2012". I attempted to create a calculated field, but it seems that calculated fields are not easy to create off of time dimensions.

       

      2) I would like to end up with a chart like this, where the different colored lines are representations of a certain time (while carrying credits):
