In the dashboard actions you will have a list of options stating "Clearing the selection will:"
If you click on the option "Exclude all values" this should remove the graph from the view until you click the table again.
If this doesn't work for you, would you be able to attach a packaged workbook to troubleshoot?
Thanks Charlie that worked!
However this has created another issue... I have several sheets on this dashboard and a parameter.
The idea is to select the option from the parameters will make certain sheets visible. The parametee is working , however I can't seem to make the sheet fit the page properly when they are visible, they seem to be squashed.. how would you fix this?

Please find the below approach and let me know if you need any more information on the same.
I would also advise you to use read this post which will help you in solving one of the basic dashboard issue .It will improve your dashboard also.
The only thing which you need to do is to select "Exclude all values" radio button .
Explaining each selection for your better conveneince
- Leave the filter - leaves the filter on the target sheets. The target views in the dashboard will show the filtered results.
- Show all values - changes the filter to include all values.
- Exclude all values - changes the filter to exclude all values. This option is useful when you are building dashboards that only show some sheets if a value in another sheet is selected.
Please mark the answer as correct if it solves your problem. This will help other members when they are searching for solutions to similar problems.
For the sheets that appear, if you click on the sheet to bring up the grey box surrounding it, and then click the little down arrow in the top right corner, then select Fit > Entire view, does this resize the sheets to fit? If so you will need to do this for each sheet you make visible.
Does this fix your problem?
Use option Exclude all values - changes the filter to exclude all values. This option is useful when you are building dashboards that only show some sheets if a value in another sheet is selected.
I have a similar situation where I want to show Summary data on first worksheet in a dashboard. This summary data includes 8 different KPI's. And this worksheet has 3 columns for 8 different KPI's:
1. Sales Completed
2. Sales Target
Now idea is when user clicks on a number in one of these 3 columns, the respective bar graph for that KPI should get pop up. But until that time all the bar graphs for all the 8 KPI's should be hidden. As I dont want to make Summary page busy by having all the bar graphs on one page together. I hope you understand what i am trying to achieve. Kindly help me, i am really stuck.
