counting instances when data is missing from data source

I'd like to create  report that highlights the number of occurrences where data is missing. For reference, I've attached an example data source, as well as the layout within tableau. As you can see, January, February and May have data included for each Category / Term, whereas March and April have missing data. What I'd like to do is be able to count the occurrences where data is there, vs. when it isn't (for example, in April, there are two occurrences where data is present (generic1 and generic2), and two occurrences where data is missing (brand1 and brand2).

      Is this possible within Tableau?
