Thanks for your response. I understand what you mean but not sure if that would work in my case. Consider it this way - I have a table named 'residents' which lists names of people. There are several other tables in my data set using which I have built a dashboard. The only thing I wish to do now is change the names of those people in my dashboards without changing any other contents or re designing the dashboards. I am not sure if I am right but from what you suggested, I should replicate my data source( which is an excel file) and change the names of residents in the newly created excel file and then extract data from this new file, is that correct? Can you please give detailed step wise instructions for doing this? I am sorry I am a rookie at this.
If you are only changing 4 names, your quickest way is to right-click your [Name] field and alias the names you want to change. Yes manual, but it's fast and works.
