    Comparing 2 dates

    Jeroen Boer

I am in the travel business and and trying to visualise some data but cant see to come up with a idea how to.

I have 3 values for every client, a booking date, a departure date and the region the client is going to.

I am trying to find a trend between regions when people book and travel, sometimes certain regions people book closer to their departure date, other times people book more in advance...

Any help ot guidance would be appreciated

          Hi Jeroen,

You can use the DATEDIFF function to calculate the difference between 2 dates. The 1st argument is used to specify the date part (i.e. day, month, year) that you want to measure, and then the next arguments are for the dates you are comparing.

          For example:

          DATEDIFF('day',[departure date],[booking date])
