There are a number of techniques to improve the performance of your dashboards, and it all kind of depends on what you've built so far. Things like a lot of marks, blended calculations, or a high number of sheets on a dashboard are just a few ways to slow down Tableau. A good start would be to check the Tableau Performance Checklist to see if there are any quick fixes there. You could also use the Performance Analyzer within Tableau (Help > Settings & Performance > Start Performance Recording) to get an idea of what is slowing down your dashboards.
Make sure your extracts are optimized.
You can do performance recording on slow worksheets to get to the bottom of it.
It is possible to load a static image while the sheet is loading, but takes some work.
I think from your other posts you were working with millions of rows so that is going to take some time to load.
