The problem is that tableau doesn't like the way you've formatted your data:
I'm guessing this means row 289/290 and 294/295 have the say Q date? You'll need to merge your cells so your data looks like this:
Then your COUNTD([Qdate]) should work.
Actually i don't use Customer ID in my View. but i need the Count of customers with Q date.
IF ISNULL([QDate]) THEN COUNTD([Customer ID]) END
I get error, Cannot mix aggregate and non aggregate exp.......
Ignore my first answer. I just edited my response there with what I think the problem is. I think you need to reformat your data.
Yeah, try this:
IF ISNULL([QDate]) THEN [Customer ID] END
Then use countd when you drag it into the view.
Thank you Both.
AS you might know i am not using any of the fields in the View.
I am looking for numbers.
Please find the attachment for the New Excel File which would give you a glance what i am actually looking for.
You can see i got Different types of dates. everything is dependent on dates.
I would like to see The Total Price if the customer has Funding Date.(Not Null only)
So i would like to see numbers like below.
For each week No of total customers Number of customers with Q dates No of Funding Dates Price(if Customer has Funding date)
Jan 10th 205 55 4 $87374
these are just random numbers.
Look at the attached 9.2 workbook and tell us what you are trying to do again, using this workbook. What values are you wanting to keep? What values are you not seeing? What values are not being returned as expected?
I dont see the workbook.
I use 9.1.1
I would like to see the Sum of Price for each week if the Customer ID has Funding Date.
I am unable to create a correct calculation that sums up the values of price which have funding date.
Thank you for your time again.
i tried to create some thing what you have said
Above is the Table view for week in Jan10 I have excluded null.
Below is the view which i am trying to create.
Week #Ids # F dates ----- ---- ------ ----- SUM(PRICE)
I am trying to apply in my View I am getting (SUM(PRICE)) 4852000 for week in Jan 10 which i am suppose to see 221000
may be i am not sure how can i use LODs on my view to get the correct value.
