Can you give more details? What version of Tableau Server are you running? Is this happening to all dashboards or a particular one? When do you see the error? When using a filter? Storypoints? Or you see this error as soon as you open the dashboard?
And what version of Firefox? What other browsers (and their version) have you tested with?
I have experienced the issue with Firefox 42 and 43. The browsers that work are Chrome 47, IE 10/11, Edge. It is a public site: Data Reports Website
The issue with Firefox only occurs when browsing the site where we have embedded the workbook. When I log into the server directly with Firefox there is no issue.
The workbook loads fine, but the error occurs when performing an action such as changing a filter option.
Tableau server 9.2
It looks as though all dashboards are behaving the same way.

I'm pretty sure this is a software bug Tableau is working on correcting. Meanwhile, see if this workaround is good enough for a bandaid fix:
1. Embed using a simple iframe and view URL.
- <param name='filter' value='%3AopenAuthoringInTopWindow=true' />
- <param name='filter' value='%3AbrowserBackButtonUndo=true' />
- <param name='filter' value='%3AreloadOnCustomViewSave=true' />
- <param name='filter' value='%3AshowShareOptions=true' />
From my initial testing this looks to resolve the Firefox issue. I really appreciate the information.
Awesome! Like I said, this is a bug Tableau is working to address. The fix should be out in the next maintenance release or so. By the way, can you mark my answer as helpful or "Like" it?
John, he marked is as Correct so...? (you can contact me via email)
