have you opened a case? this is where I would start. It's peculiar that the test connection works, but the extract refresh does not.
Yes, we just opened a case with Tableau Support this morning.
I thought I'd give it a shot and see if anyone else on the forum has encountered a similar issue.
We ended up solving the issue.
We had a worker that did not have the proper ODBC DSN settings configured.
When we spun up the 9.2 instance we thought that all configurations from 9.0 had ported over, that's why it took us a while to figure out that there was a worker that had not been configured.
Reaching out to you as the title is similar to the issue I am facing. I am also getting the error:
- Tableau expected to find driver version 2.5.0 or later to connect using Impala, but version 0.0.0 is installed. Visit http://www.tableau.com/drivers to download driver setup files.
But I have installed the Cloudera Impala driver and also set up the user DSN and tested successfully. But while making connection via tableau using Cloudera connector, I get the above error message. Also, I tried with Other Databases(ODBC) and was able to connect. Am I missing any step to make the driver work properly ? Can you please help me with this?
