Embed Yes Required for URL parameter. Hides the top navigation area, making the view blend into your web page better.
Thanks for getting back so fast!
I already have this as my URL:
but still see the black bar.
Is it just my machine or something?
yup - my problem too
If I could just find out the parameter/option the little triangle is changing we would be in business!
Thanks Toby, helpful answer!!
Embedding is something I'm interested in but I lack both skills and knowledge. I want to do something like this
I think they're called iframes and then you set the frame to exclude the borders....
I still don't understand though
Tableau help article >> Embed Views into Webpages
If you work it out, let me know
All the best!
Great post. I have a question with something that showed up in my views that we're embedding on a webpage:
These minus and plus signs show up with both the views I'm embedding, and they allow you to increase or decrease the level of granularity of the data. For instance, hitting the minus button takes my view back to displaying at a FY level, where hitting the plus button brings the view to a monthly level.
Are there parameters for a URL that turn this off? That's not something we want to offer to our users here.
I looked at this page but didn't see anything. Parameters for Embed Code
Hi James Fellrath,
There is not a way that I am aware of using a URL paramenter to turn that off, you can however add a blank object to your workbook that covers that section of the fiscal years (or the entire workbook if you don't want people to interact with it).
