You can use the "readonly" user to connect to the internal PostgreSQL and view the "background_tasks" table. That should show you all the tasks in the schedules. From there, you can export to a CSV if needed, or just continue to look for duplicates in Tableau.

Servername/tasks.xml gives an XML file for all tasks which will be harder then looking at tasks on server itself. Parsing the XML to single column would be helpful. I found a parser written by you but that didn’t work after I downloaded.. throwing missing header error.. may be an older version which doesn’t work with 9.

Use this workbook. You'll want to look at the two sheets in the middle:
- Data Sources with Scheduling
- Workbooks with Scheduling
You will need to accept the Custom SQL and you will need to Edit Connection when you first open it so it points to your Tableau Server -- naturally you can edit the XML file itself if you wish.
This should get you started in the right direction.
Thanks for pointing out that the original XML document I created isn't working. This is likely due to a version difference as you suggest. I'll add it to my list of things to do
